WaveDec extends the same underlying capability to surfers, small-boat operators, and other users who want a quick, informed view of nearshore conditions.
From Measurement to Decision Support
TIDIVIEWS combines observed coastal conditions with wave models and forecasts to provide a broader picture of what is happening now and what may happen next.
By bringing direct observations and model-based information together, we aim to support better-informed coastal decisions.
Our longer-term development pathway is toward observation-enhanced modelling and data assimilation, where real-world coastal observations can contribute to improving model representation of local conditions.
